“If you're looking for peace, this is where to find it. Hard to believe it is only two hours from Sydney. Highly rate resting in the hammock with a good book and looking out over those incredible ever-changing views. And morning coffee at the table on the main deck - wow. Plenty of kangaroos, wallabies and birdlife. Even had a lovely visit from a herd of little goats that clamber all over the vertical cliff faces. Loved the pool on a very hot day, the star gazing at night and the mists swirling……

We enjoyed beautiful walks to see the cattle, admiring the stunning view, nights by the outdoor fire and playing tennis with the family. Judy and Grahman were exceptional hosts and we will most definitely be back again next year.”

“"Whisky Creek" was a lovely place to stay and very well located. Kangaroos grazed nearby in the early morning and at dusk, we enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and the house was excellent for our family of three generations.”

“The property was large and spacious. Lots of natural light. However, the heating in the entire property was poor. Some rooms had no heating at all and the temperature at night dipped to 5C - not pretty. Hot water in the bathrooms was also a major problem. On our second morning- there was no hot water. We found spiders in the jacuzzi and several other creepy crawlies throughout the property. And finally it was like a treasure hunt to find the rubbish bin on the property. Despite all our efforts……

“This place exceeded expectations, even the drive in (we had kangaroos hop alongside the car). The place was very clean, warm and welcoming! It was in a secluded location so you felt like you were in your own little world in the middle of the bush. Will definitely be back!”

“We had an enjoyable week at the lake house. The inside was neat, tidy & pretty well maintained considering the age of the property. The grassed area leading to the lake was a great area for cricket & soccer, and the family enjoyed fishing in the lake. We had 5 adults + 4 kids in the house and it was more than big enough. The pool was a good size & despite being a bit cold (it is not heated) the kids had a lot of fun. The spa took a while to heat but once it got going it was used constantly. The……
