“I must say the size of our suite was impressive. What was more impressive was the cleanliness of the room. Our super king size bed had a supremely comfortable mattress, the room came with a small kitchenette area which we didn't use and plenty of tea and coffee etc and the muffins were a bonus. The bathroom was large and spotless with a great walk-in shower. Towels were fluffy and soft. Sleep quality brilliant and we would recommend this property ”

“Exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, and a fabulous welcome. We stayed in Tufted Owl overlooking the High Street - a bit ‘rumbly’ if a big vehicle went past, but there’s very little traffic in town at night. The noise didn’t affect me at all. Beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was over at The Crown (we were given a breakfast card each) which was amazing. We’re definitely coming back. ”

Great location for us going to events in South Petherton and Glastonbury. Lovely area - noted the South Somerset Cycle route for another time1”

“Awesome we loved it ”

“Last minute weekend booking for 2 adults and 3 children (6,6,8). Arrived late to a prepared room, warm welcome and much needed cocktail. Room had a queen size bed in a separate area with sofa bed and single bed in the main area. Each area had a large TV, would of loved for these to be smart tv’s but didn’t affect us too much. Was a warm weekend but a fan was provided. Spacious, clean room. Amenities were great and included iron, wash basket etc + the usual tea, coffee and hot choc ( great……

“When I went to check in the person behind the counter told me I did not have a reservation. This then began a series of events that caused significant stress. My phone was out of power as was my lap top. I took my lap top to a neighboring hotel where I was able to see I DID have a reservation. That person was not there when I returned but check in was fine. When I eventually saw the person in question he said I must have made the reservation that day with no apology”

“this is if you want cheap and cheerful then its perfect the rooms are very basic and a little outdated. the shower was more of a dribble than a shower. the rooms were clean and the staff very helpful when i had a issue on arrival ”

“Sue and Graham are such wonderful and welcoming hosts. The property has so much character, well maintained and very clean. Other than the weak wifi connection in the room, everything else was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was a really highlight - great options for vegetarians and pescatarian alike. Would highly recommend!”
