“A very impressive building. Bathroom a bit tired looking and taps stiff or leaking but a lovely location in the heart of Buxton. Only real gripe was that I was asked to pay extra for everything. Parking was an extra £5.00, use of the pool Is extra and breakfast was £24 extra! So I ate elsewhere. ”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful contacting me on route to check when i was going to arrive and offererd to jave food ready for me should i be late. Room was very comfortable and had everything that i required. Looked good to. ”

“The only thing I can criticise on is the wall sockets . The table in front of the mirror is to high so your unable to use a plug in the socket unless you move the table out from the wall”

“Nice hotel, good rooms and comfortable spacious dining area. Our bedroom on the top floor was warmer than we would have liked, we were unable to reduce the temperature during the warm weather. Staff were very good. ”

“Our party consisted of 4 couples. We were a lot to cater for at dinner and yet the team looked after us for the two nights absolutely brilliantly. Best customer service I have seen in a very long while. In addition the rooms were well laid out, spacious and really comfortable, and the cooking was first class. Terrific stay in all respects. Thank you.”
