“Lovely. We will definitely be back. The food was really special as was the wine and service. We paid for the deluxe king room and the bathroom was really lovely my only slight gripe was the room didn’t feel especially roomy or deluxe however the bathroom did make up for this as it was gorgeous. Not a complaint but I think I wouldn’t pay the extra for the deluxe room when I come back which I definitely will be doing. It’s worth it for the food and service alone as well as the beautiful scenery. ”

“Everything at this Hotel is amazing. I took my wife here for our 49th Anniversary, for a 2 night break and our Honeymoon Suite was fabulous. Great views over the hills. Room was spotless and comfortable. All staff were really helpful, but I must mention, Michael who was here there and everywhere and on hand when you needed him. Food was awesome both breakfast and evening meal. A big shout to Kat at breakfast. This girl is an absolute star, so pleasant and has a very warm welcoming persona which……

“Excellent stay, staff were all very friendly, pool is great and the kids had a great time, although it's probably more set up for working trips than a family break but we've stayed as a family twice now and enjoyed the break. The birthday platter for our son's birthday was a nice touch.”

“The hotel is moden and well laid out with everything you need for a stay. The rooms are large, clean and well looked after. But the biggest standout were the staff, everyone is so friendly and fo out of their way to help. Tip top service from all of them well done”

“Nice hotel, room comfortable and restaurant/ bar food and drink very good and priced reasonably.few little gripes, when booking though a third party website it said parking was £6 per night, when I arrived I was charged £7.50 per night. Also double charged my account for our food and drink, removed eventually. But still was a live charge on my credit card for a week.”

“One night stay for business, ate in the pub, all good. Room was functional with everything i needed. Would stay again!”

“Overall our two nights were good room and property were very clean and there's a kitchen for food. A couple of points would be to have a blind on the bathroom door window mainly because the morning light comes in and wound add more privacy. Also we found the mattresses uncomfortable and springy so didn't get a great sleep but its a lovely property and would stay again if beds were comfier ”

“The room was a little dated, lovely corner bath but the jets weren’t working on it, no shower in the room which would have been handy. Lovely 4 poster bed, but the mattress was way too soft. Restaurant was lovely and the quality of the food was great. We used the spa and the gym the following day, the spa was very modern, great facilities and very clean.”
