“Amazing accommodation ideal for a couple , very comfortable, lovely quiet location but not far to drive to Sherborne. All kitchen essentials provided . Lovely comfy bed. Bathroom/shower perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.”

“The room was beautifully appointed, modern within a heritage building. There were lots of fresh milk and decent coffee bags available. The adjacemt pub was clean and tidy, the evening meal was great and breakfast was superb.”

“Everything about this property was lovely, the decor and garden were beautiful, bed comfy and good bathroom. The owners were warm and welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Nice quiet neighbourhood yet only a short drive to beachfront. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Only one slight criticism was the bedroom was very hot. Otherwise perfect. Definitely one to return to. ”

“Pros - wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, lovely sheets and soft fluffy towels. A lovely newly refurbished bathroom and lots of lovely hot water and nice toiletries. The food is superb, both dinner and breakfast, with lots of choice and cannot be faulted. Dogs allowed everywhere, which for us is a massive plus with 2 dogs. Opposite the Abbey so in a marvellous position for seeing the area by foot and parking is free as well Cons - chipped paintwork in room and bathroom, needed a re-paint……

“When one drives up first impressions are "oh dear". But keeping an open mind it's a gem of a hotel. The building is ex military on a very exposed elevated position. Every member of staff was incredibly helpful and engaging. The room was comfortable and clean. Good was pretty good too and not too expensive. ”
