“In Marion for a family wedding. Perfect place for all of us (adult children and teenage grandchildren and pre-teen great grandchildren). Dramatic great room overlooking 5th tee. Got to review the golfers as an added benefit. Looks like a good spot for a getaway golf weekend.”

“We ladies had a great couple of days in wine country. It was so nice for all four of us to have our own bed. The house is roomy and was very clean with all the amenities needed. We would recommend it! Be aware, it is closer to the road than we expected, but there was no traffic noise. Also, there are no shades on the main floor windows. Nice location. Close to the wine trail and Carbondale, even a Dollar General. Great stay!”

“House was perfect for a family of 4. Great condition, very clean. Kitchen well stocked, and host included special treats and snacks for the kids. There are games and a very nice outdoor area with firepit, Everything looked new or newly remodeled. Host had excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again if in the area, way better than a hotel room and for a cheaper price.”

“I would recommend this home for anyone coming to the area. Great place to stay. Everything you need for a couple days or longer. Close to everything, very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't figure out how to lock the front door when leaving and had to call for help. Return call was very quick. There's a trick to locking the door. Must be one for the dishwasher too because I was unable to get it started when we left. Would definitely stay again if we had a group. Loved the color themes in the bedrooms.”

“I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was at Oak Manor. We stayed here for our daughter’s law school graduation and we had 15 family and friends join us. The house was exceptional. So clean and comfortable. We cooked all of our meals together and grilled out on the terrace. The property grounds are wonderful and we spent many hours on the terrace enjoying the views and comfy patio furniture. I loved having my morning coffee on the front porch swing listening to the birds sing. Betsy the……

“This was our second stay at the property and it is delightful! The home is stocked with anything you need, the location is great and the house is quite comfortable! We will make this our “go to” spot when visiting our college son!”

“Nice spot for our group visiting family in Carbondale. Clean, spacious, and well stocked with goodies. Looks out onto a big farm field which made for great sunrises. Some plumbing issues, with one toilet that continually clogged and standing water in the shower. Would like to see some area rugs & outdoor lighting added to the property. Overall, a good stay for our group and met our needs well.”

“I was very pleased with this apartment. It was beautiful and very handy for my eclipse needs. I thought the pictures of it didn't do it justice! It was quiet and had everything I needed. The only drawback was the long staircase to get up there with my luggage, but I managed. I brought some soap and shampoo for my showers and needed them. ”
