“Good hotel, might look dated in some aspects in the common area . The room I slept in seems to have been modernized but the tv system is cruelly small considering the distance from the beds. A better isolation from the pool section might be desired . Rooms 1,-5 are passing close to the pool section which leave a smell of chlorine when passing through much of the day.”

“We have stayed at the Dunalastair a couple of times and really enjoyed each visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms very well appointed and clean. The lounge areas are great and we also liked the restaurant and the food. The hotel and area is also very quiet. Nice views of Schiehallion too! Recommended for sure.”

“Fantastic setting. Accommodation ideal for a home from home experience. Some of the furnishings are looking tired however Chalet was spotlessly clean, plenty hot water and heating. So much wildlife to watch from dawn to dusk. Restaurant provides plenty options to please most people. ”

“Stayed here for the Saturday night with the mrs. Rooms were very nice and bed and furniture were comfortable. Very nice location! Pool and spa was excellent for being in an hotel! Only downside was having to pay for a hot breakfast when the room we bought came with breakfast included, so that spoiled things a little. Cooked breakfast should be included when it says breakfast included so a bit false advertising for me.”

It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. ”
