“Front Royal is a great place to stay. This home is beautiful with everything we could possibly need! Our hosts were easy to reach and very helpful. The bedrooms are big and comfortable and the dining room and living room are great for big families. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again!”

“this house had everything we could think of plus some things we didn’t even think of. It was beyond clean, well furnished love the decorations. The antique would see everything of it. Plenty of space in the kitchen more than sufficient pots of pans and dishes and silverware and whatever else, very generous. We had a power outage and the owners contacted me to let us know giving him estimated time it would be fixed. Let’s see other than that. I think the place was pretty pretty perfect. It was……

“Thank you Asad and Erika, my fiance and I had an amazing few days on top of the beautiful mountains. The house was beautiful, very clean, fully stocked, and I enjoyed the adorable Bear theme through out the home, so many details! So inviting, warm and even had a beautiful piano. There was various games and activities in the home, not to mention about 15 minutes from downtown! Great location! We enjoyed the amazing views, and the peace! We even hired an amazing local photographer Joe Stein……

“Quiet with great view of the mountains. Can see cars driving on skyline drive with binoculars. Great stargazing from the hot tub. Short drive to the north entrance of the national park and to the state park. Would suggest bringing own cooking utensils and cookware if planning making on family meals. Bed and toilet in master rather low which may be difficult for those with limited mobility. Overall, very pleased.”

“We had a lovely stay in this clean, comfortable home. We went hiking in Shenandoah and the nearby trail. We took a day to explore Strasburg and Winchester. We mostly enjoyed the beautiful view and playing games and chatting by the fire. The hosts were kind and were available to answer any questions and to offer hiking and restaurant suggestions.”

“The house and property were excellent. Very clean and plenty of space for 5 adults (one couple, 3 singles). Only one TV in the 4th bedroom which was surprising for a house that size. No washer and dryer which would have been very convienent for the proximity it was to town. If your looking to get away in a wooded quiet location this property is for you. Internet was great, Verizon cell service not so much (none). The decks were very nice for checking out the scenery.”

“was a sibling weekend for our youngest sisters 60th birthday and had perfect time. house is spacious and comfortable. property is awesome with great views. we spent a lot of time at the firepit enjoying great fall weather. deer were plentiful and on saturday when we came back up from the firepit 5 were within 10 yards from front door. great time and we will be back.”

“Had a great time staying at the Masten Cabin, celebrating our anniversary and my husbands birthday. Quiet and secluded in the woods, yet close to Winchester, Strasberg and points beyond. Well appointed with comfy furniture, we especially enjoyed the screened in porch to sip coffee and enjoy the view. If our travels take us back this way, we’d love to stay again!”

“Recently stayed the cozy cabin for a delightful weekend in the mountains. The cabin is lovely, especially the new master suite, bathroom, and beautiful wrap around deck. There’s almost no need to go anywhere, just sit and enjoy the views, the fireplace, and lovely location. That said, it’s super easy to get to Shenandoah and Front Royal as well, making it a perfect landing spot for activities in the region. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.”

“The property is as advertised, the living area is quite spacious. It is a large cabin with a lot of decoration and collectibles inside, telling stories of mountaineering, hunting, diving and cave research. The location is on the North-Eastern edge of the George Washington National Forest. Some hiking trails along the Fort Valley are very close by, you can start right at the property. There are two fire pits and a gas grill outside, plenty of wood as well. An indoor fireplace would have been……

“We had a lovely stay at this property, and found the staff to be very polite and helpful. While the property is under renovation, we were out from 9am-5pm daily and didn’t hear any construction noise during our stay. The property is certainly older and needs the renovation. The pool is closed while they are renovating. The breakfast was quite nice with a variety of options. One note is that I’m not sure the heat was working properly because it was cold every night. Even though we had the heat on……

“This is the 2nd year we have stayed here for HOA. The house is old but has a story and i like that. There is plenty of room for the whole group to have our own space. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook our own meals. The view of the river is nice. We love the driveway to the house. Its filled with cows and lots of wildlife. Never know what you will see. Town isnt to far away. Overall this is a nice place to stay for our little get away. We enjoyed it. On the downside like last year……
