“I stayed here with two buddies, with the plan to do a bunch of hiking and have a cozy, spacious place to come back to every day, and this fit the bill perfectly. We loved the neighborhood, the view is incredible, the walk down to the city center is easy, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Funchal!”

“Beautiful property we had a wonderful stay. We were meet by property manager who went through everything with us. We were 7 adults and 4 children. It was a perfect home for the bigger kids had a pool table and pool. Close to all, easy to access freeway. Garage parking for 3 cars was perfect. I would just make sure to request more bath towels and toilet paper before arrival.”

“The location is great, on walking distance from the harbour and main restaurant/shopping streets in Funchal. The house and its garden are absolutely wonderful, very calm, providing both sun and shade. The garden is very well-kept and we all enjoyed the terrace and pool area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is no parking place on the property but this was not a problem at all. It was always easy to find a parking spot at the public parking nearby. The person who met……

“Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help.”

“The house for two people is big, clean and the position optimal. It also has an outside common terrace. The only downside has been in the communication with the host, but he s very kind and ready to resolve any problem!”

“If you’re looking for a modern feel Villa, with a stunning view of Funchal and the coast, and a very nice pool, you just fund it! We were 4 friends who travelled to Madeira for the first time to film and photograph the island and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay. The drive up there is a little tricky, as the road is very steep and with sharp turns, but very worth it. Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We felt pampered in this huge old (1826) villa. The rooms are large with soaring ceilings. Many of the furnishings are gorgeous antiques; every bedroom has a large bathroom.The grand piano was played every day with amazing sound acoustics. The gardens and grounds are extensive and are like a private arboretum. But most interesting was the history of the place; once we learned who the Brandy’s were we saw their influence all over Funchal. An unexpectedly extraordinary six night stay we will never……

“Very comfortable home with fantastic view and comfortable beds. Lots of room, large kitchen, great location. Make sure to learn about how to use the showers as the hot water will decrease if more than one person is trying to shower at a time ( the water will get cold). Very easy location to walk to many attractions, and catch taxis at the base of the hill. Unbelievably beautiful up on the porch, a great place for wine.”

“Perhaps one of the nicest experiences you could ask for – This place has everything. The location is just up the hill from Old Town with views of the ocean and harbor. Highly recommend you bring a good pair of binoculars to truly enjoy all the activities on the ocean from whale and dolphin watching to enjoying watching the ships and boats, open water kayakers, wind surfers, and paddleboarders. “Susy as a host is just amazing. Whenever you messaged her, you would get a response instantly. She is friendly, kind and polite. Susy’s Garden is the most perfect place. It is the perfect villa with breathtaking views (which is perfect for the New Year’s Eve Fireworks). It is well kept and clean. Lovely neighbourhood, with neighbours that helped me when I got lost on the first day. We spent most of our time around the pool, it is just such a relaxing place. “This was a fabulous villa and we enjoyed our stay immensely! We were not far from bus stops, so it was easy to get to Funchal, and we were within walking distance of a Continente. The space was lovely and inviting. There were only minor inconveniences - there was no toilet paper rolls or hand soap anywhere, and several of the 5 bathrooms ran out the first day. We picked some up at the supermercado. Nice views from the yard also.”

“Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage auf Madeira. Leider entsprach die Unterkunft nicht der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Wir waren zu fünft und es ist uns ein Rätsel wie man mit 10 Personen dort unterkommen kann. Am Platz scheitert es nicht aber an der Ausstattung, es hat zu wenig Sitzmöbel im ganzen Haus so wie am Pool. Die Haus ist zudem schon deutlich abgewohnt und hat hier und da Schimmel an den Wänden. In der Dusche des Erdgeschosses riecht es ab und an nach Benzin ( oberhalb des Gebäudes ist eine……
