“This cabin was exactly what we needed for our short fishing trip at Clearlake. We had a boat and trailer with us and there was plenty of room to park our trailer and turn it around easily. The house is located minutes from a boat launch and had a few restaurants and a small market within walking distance. There’s even a small boat launch in back of the property for kayaks or other small watercraft and you could fish the canal if you’d like—though when we were there the water level was a little……

“The location of this house is stunning. It's on a peninsula that sticks out in to Clear Lake, and then it itself is on its own little rocky promontory that sticks out from the peninsula. The house is about 50 feet up from the lake. The upshot of this is that you get an amazing view of the lake from sunrise to sunset, and due to it sticking out to the lake a bit, a lot of the local birds use the updraft it creates. “Great stay! Our group of adults and teens enjoyed this house so much. The beds were super comfy and its right on the water. We bbq'd everyday and were visited by the ducks and other wild birds. We would highly recommend this home for a getaway of pure relaxation. 5 Stars!”

“This is an older but nicely remodeled home. Beautiful views even with a rainy weekend. The lake laps right up to the edge of the property. Very close to town for entertainment but far enough away that you can get alone time. We would make 2 very strong recos. Put up curtains or blinds in the living room; it's disconcerting that the neighbors can see right in. Also, leave an instruction sheet for the TV; it was very challenging trying to figure out how the remote worked and what options were……
