“The cottage was exceptional, well equiped, very clean, nicely decorated and positioned close to Ballater for walks into town for lunch or a coffee and wander around and to visit the local attractions and nearby towns. It is also positioned well to visit the east coast and whiskey trail areas and the Cairngorm walks. Staying for a week it was so helpful having the laundry and equipment. Our stay was very enjoyable.”

“This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. It is a very cosy and comfortable holiday cottage, that is well equipped. It has comforrtable beds, with sparkling white linens and towels. It is located excellent for the town, with a fabulous bakery and butchers. We also sampled the fish and chips which were very good too. Would definitely reccomend to friends and family. The whisky snug was a great way to finish our evening after a fantastic meal. The refurbishment of the inn has been done to such a high standard - it was really stunning. “The cabin was amazingly beautiful. The decor was very very nice. Everything was very clean and the views were beautiful. First thing I did was take pictures of the cabin to send home. They know How much I wanted to stay in one. I did walk the seven bridge walk I’d sat halfway, also a wonderful scenic walk where I was able to get some fabulous pictures. When I took the walk outside the cabin I was amazed to see rabbits running everywhere. I was like a cartoon, most enjoyable. I did meet up with……

“This cottage is so nice you won't want to leave the house. The layout is perfect and incredibly functional, and the style is pristine and tasteful. There is a laminated guidebook with info about the appliances, temp control, amenities, nearby hikes. Everything was in stock, everything worked. The skylights have blinds/shades and can be cracked open for air, and the lighting options inside are numerous. Sometimes you see houses that have been flipped with superficial touches yet they fail at……

“We loved our stay in the Balmoral lodge. Excellent location, well equipped and comfortable. Only tiny thing I’d mention is that in the facilities there is ‘free toiletries’ listed, but it was only hand soap so we did have to nip to the local shop. So maybe just take that off the description as it may be misleading? We’d love to come back again soon, we had a fantastic time. Thank you! ”
