“Good hotel, might look dated in some aspects in the common area . The room I slept in seems to have been modernized but the tv system is cruelly small considering the distance from the beds. A better isolation from the pool section might be desired . Rooms 1,-5 are passing close to the pool section which leave a smell of chlorine when passing through much of the day.”

It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. ”

“The location was fabulous and the garden was a joy. The house was okay but would have benefited from the owners having been less defensive and having acted upon issues already raised by previous reviewers e.g. the mattresses/pillows were very uncomfortable, the tap in the upstairs toilet is very stiff and difficult to turn on or regulate the temperature, especially cold (even the caretaker couldn't sort out). The old books (inc Masters of Modern Science, 1935 edition! and the complete……

“We had a great stay in this cosy cottage, fab location with some nice walks from the village, and plenty to do in the nearby area. The children enjoyed watching the chickens, and we really enjoyed the eggs and fresh bread the owners kindly left us. A really relaxing weekend away”
