“Welcomed an upgrade. Very much appreciated. However, on arrival asked to pay direct and not as normal through my booking form. This insured me card surcharges that I was not advised of at the time, and do not have through normal booking procedure. Also after dining at the establishment and going for the account to charge to my room, was advised I could not do so as it was blocked at the reception desk. This done in front of my guest and not appreciated. Receptionist who booked us in apologised……

“We booked into the Farmers Home Hotel with ease. Our room was well appointed with lots of little “extras”. We enjoyed a couple of beautifully presented drinks at the Temperance Bar and decided to stay for something to eat. The share plates we ordered were delicious. We had an early start the next morning and found checking out a breeze. Thanks for your hospitality Farmers Home Hotel, your staff are delightful. ”

“There are not many accommodation options in Newman. Seasons is priced for what it is. The room was spacious. The reception was only open limited hours The fridge in the room could be a proper size bar fridge rather than the teeny box fridge. Bathroom was clean - remember nothing flattens white in a town full of red dirt!! Parking was about 20m away from unit.”
