“Safe great place”

“The property and room was clean. Parking was amazing. The bed was very comfortable too. Cons - The toilet ran nonstop. The soap was out. When I advised the front desk, i was told housekeeping would replace it when they came in but he wrote down my room and out of soap on a piece of paper. When I came back 4 hours later, I was told housekeeping comes every other day and I could replace it myself. ”

“The customer service at the hotel was excellent. The room was lovely and has a beautiful view of the river. They do have some construction going on around the hotel, but it wasn’t a problem. I would definitely stay here again!”

“It is a one story small inn with probably < 20 rooms. But the room is super clean, looks very new, floors and furniture are all like new. Very well accommodating. 1 block (3-5min walk) to public beach, In a safe, shaded and quiet residential neighborhood. The receptionist is very nice. Parking is free. There are very good seafood restaurants within 3 miles. Also Harris Teeter within 10 min walk. Very nice place to stay.”

“My door was off of its hinges and my ceiling was leaking toilet water”

“This stay was during a conference that was being held at the hotel ALSO during graduation weekend and there was no restaurant available for lunch on Saturday which led to having to leave the property and fight grad traffic to find food. Suggest you staff restaurant next year if this occurs. Food for thought (pun intended).”

“This was my second time staying here and my room was what was expected. The ac worked great. Room was clean. You could tell that there may have been water damage on the ceiling where the patch job wasn’t the greatest in the bathroom. The room was very comfortable and a very good price for the stay. Love the dove shower stuff as well. Will definitely be staying again when In town.”

“Beautiful hotel with a glass art gallery inside it. Lots of beautiful pieces to look at and admire. Room was elegant and super clean. Shower was beautiful with a glass door and sleek subway tile. Really comfortable mattress and linens. Ice by request. Everything we needed and more! ”

“Clean and quiet”

“I have stayed at this location many times before and have loved everything about until this trip. There is not one thing that i can say was positive about this trip or location. I had people banging into the door like they were trying to break in. Breakfast was awfully the pool had 22 unsupervised and the were using the medical board off the wall as a surf board. Sheets were missing and blood stains on the matress cover. I will never stay at this location ever again. I wish i could get a refund……
