"We had a great time. The property needs repairs but we weren't looking for perfection. It is a big place and we were able to spread out. The kitchen is great and we spent a lot of time cooking and eating together. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook or bake. There were plenty of paper products for our week stay. We did have to buy drinking water, not because of the discoloration but because it had a salty taste. "My family needed a place to stay to celebrate the death of my mother. She lived in Cranberry Lake for 34 years and loved Lake especially to paint beautiful watercolors."

"Our families had a great time at the lake house! The dock boat and sandbar were amazing and the neighbors were very kind. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating! Thank you! The only room for improvement I would suggest is to place an AC unit upstairs as it was a bit hot. That’s it! Thanks again!"

"It was beautiful the log cabins are beautiful price is a little high for some families but I don’t think they have any problem renting these beautiful cabins . The motel area is in need of some extensive work and many updates but they seem to improving every year nice views of the lake "

Pinecone Place - A True North Vacation Home

Peaceful cabin getaway

"This place was very clean, comfy beds, nice linens. For a rustic cabin, the interior was very updated with great appliances and all needed kitchen essentials. Ice maker was not working or not hooked up, as such would suggest adding a couple ice cube trays. Multiple heating sources which were great. We preferred the wood stove, and outdoor fire pit very enjoyable. There was plenty of wood provided. This place so close to snowmobile trail, we would love to return in winter season. Our dog loved walking the woods, and to Buttermilk Falls just down the road, a must see!"

"Fantastic stay for a large group. We visited in February for a ski trip—close proximity to Whiteface Resort for skiing and nearby towns for groceries/restaurants. Fully stocked sleeping quarters, kitchen, and entertainment options. Sheri was communicative and reachable 24/7 (including a housekeeper who swung by onsite), sent us very detailed check-in and check-out instructions, and promptly addressed any questions or issues our group raised. We believe any one-off issues we had would not affect future guests. We would happily stay at her property again."

"Staying at "The Lazy Bear Cabin" was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere, tasteful decorations, and impeccable cleanliness made our stay truly special. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a more inviting retreat. Highly recommend!"

"A quick two day/one night trip to see the Town and Wild Center. The accommodations were clean. easy to find and just what we needed. Hosts were nice, made themselves available although we and the space needed nothing"

Incredible stay at an incredible property

"We had an absolutely perfect weekend. The property was extremely clean and had more than enough space for our party. There was plenty to do in the cute town nearby and we even got to see the regatta go right by the dock. We will absolutely be coming back."
