“The Nest is located less than 5 min from gas stations, restaurants, outfitters. We hiked the triad mountains of Tupper Lake and came back to the apt after a long active day. It was so clean, and comfortable . All the amenities made it so convenient. The hot tub was a bonus too .”

“This is a pretty special property. The views are incredible, the home is cozy and well-maintained, and the property is located just 5 minutes from downtown Tupper Lake and 25 minutes to Saranac Lake (we spent time in both)! I fished both full days we were there. I launched from the property with my fishing kayak one day. My wife used one of the provided kayaks one day. The second day I launched about 1.25 miles up the road at a DEC boat launch. We had a great time and I highly recommend.”

We spent the days exploring the surrounding towns and hiking trails, including the VIC at Paul Smith’s College which we highly recommend. “Fantastic stay for a large group. We visited in February for a ski trip—close proximity to Whiteface Resort for skiing and nearby towns for groceries/restaurants. Fully stocked sleeping quarters, kitchen, and entertainment options. Sheri was communicative and reachable 24/7 (including a housekeeper who swung by onsite), sent us very detailed check-in and check-out instructions, and promptly addressed any questions or issues our group raised. We believe any one-off issues we had would not affect……

“This place was very clean, comfy beds, nice linens. For a rustic cabin, the interior was very updated with great appliances and all needed kitchen essentials. Ice maker was not working or not hooked up, as such would suggest adding a couple ice cube trays. Multiple heating sources which were great. We preferred the wood stove, and outdoor fire pit very enjoyable. There was plenty of wood provided. This place so close to snowmobile trail, we would love to return in winter season. “The house has lots of room and was very comfortable. My family of 6 with four kids had plenty of room. The pantry and kitchen were well stocked with pots, pans, crock pot, toaster, coffee pot and any thing you would need for cooking. The grill, stove top, oven and microwave all worked well. The owners even left some regular pantry and other spices you might need for cooking. My kids enjoyed the oversized tub but we couldn’t get the jets to work. We had issues with the toilets not working……

“Camp Eastwood is incredible. Great location, spacious layout, great views of the changing seasons, easy access to the lake and the mountains. Would recommend for any larger group looking for a relaxing time in a perfect house with a huge kitchen with a big gas range for cooking, multiple big screen TVs and a great fire pit to gather around at the end of the day. We will definitely rent here again.”
