“The place was generally in good keep including the room, except behind the curtains. Spiders had spun their webs everywhere resulting in us having to ask the reception desk for spray to kill them, so this was a big no no to housekeeping. Dining area staff seemed absent minded throughout the four days there. Tranquil and refreshing overall although I found myself wishing that I had booked into a mainstream hotel on several occasions.”

“We stayed in backpacker accommodation (6 adults) which is rustic, but adequate, we had a very reasonably priced meal and a night filled with stars in a beautiful location. There is more upmarket accommodation in rondavels, which is very nice although still rustic. It was a great night away with no South African cell signal, so total peace. They said free wifi, but I didn't check”
