“The place is modest but a bargain for the location, you are literally in the center of all nightlife, fine dining and street vendors. It is safe with reception all day and night as well as breakfast to start your day. The Air conditioner in each room is potent so on hot days you will be very comfortable in the room. “Hosts: Extremely helpful, they went out of their way to help me get items I needed for the next stage of my trip. Room and building: Excellent. Atmospheric with lots of character, and a view of palm trees from my window. Cool with AC and a powerful fan. My room was incredibly NOISY
"I was quite disappointed with my stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. The location was not ideal for exploring on foot, and to make matters worse, my room (209 on the 2nd floor) was incredibly noisy. Not only did the noise from traffic seep in through the windows, but it also infiltrated through the air ventilation system. Throughout the night, I had to endure various sources of disturbance, including the passing trains, loud trucks, live music from the bar, and an unusual machinery noise that even caused some shaking in the room's structure (possibly from machinery nearby?). It was an overall unpleasant experience, despite the visually appealing furniture and the friendly staff. "
