“The location of this property was excellent for our needs. It is central to Lakewood and easy access to University Place, North End, and Steilacoom (without having to get on I-5). Lakewood Mall and Steilacoom Park are close by. I wish we could have made use of the lake and firepit, but it was not the right weather that weekend. The room itself was exactly like the pictures. It was a nice sized space and really perfect for 2 people.”

“We came to the property for my baby moon- it was a lovely overnight trip to Vashon Island and it was such a blessing to stay in this studio! We brought my pup so I am glad we found such a cute space that allowed him. Loved the natural lighting, the bed was super comfy, and the hosts of the property allowed me to take the lilacs in the space home which really made me so happy! We would stay here again”

“The location is beautiful, clean, and private. The hosts are very kind. They are very responsive. The stay was peaceful and refreshing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! A slice of paradise for sure! We even saw some porpoises in the Sound! The only downside and it's VERY minor. There truly is NOT a kitchen or kitchenette in the property. There is a small fridge, a hot plate and coffee pot but not a sink, etc. that you would call a kitchen. However, again, we didn't really plan on……

“The numbering of the apartments is odd -- when we picked #1, we thought (based on the photos) that it was the top floor. It turns out that #1 is the middle, #3 is the top, and #2 is the bottom! So instead of a quiet floor, we ended up underneath a group of loud people who were noisy past midnight. As for the apartment, it was clean, and an odd combination of really nice and sort of shabby. The floors and fixtures are very nice, the furniture spare but pretty nice. The kitchen is stocked with……

“This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.”
