The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!”

“This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat!”

“My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and it was a great escape. There are neighbors but you have your privacy still. The area was nice and quiet - no cell service but we were able to use the provided wifi when we needed with our smart phones. The cabin is a perfect size for 2 or a small, young family. It was basically one large space with a bathroom as the only separated room. It was SUPER CLEAN. It has everything you needed. I felt that the owners went above and beyond to provide……

“This place is beautiful! The quality is impeccable. Amenities abound! Cooking utensils, grill, coffee pot, linens, wireless, all there. We enjoyed ourselves so much! The owners communicated clearly and provided excellent directions, instructions, and contact information. They also had light switches and fab switches labeled which was fantastic and so user friendly. The nest ac worked beautifully. The ONLY negative is they truly need to replace the oversized, for children only bunk beds……

“Cabin was clean we love the hot tub loved everything about the cabin. It was really nice to be backed up to the woods and see the nature had trouble working the TV but other than that everything was good.”

“We absolutely loved our time here at the "creekside cottage"! You dont realize how close the creek is to the back porch, the sound of the water is amazing! This is a great A frame cottage in a nice private spot, and still about 10 to 15 minutes from anything you want or need to do!”

“With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!”

“We had a great time at the treehouse! There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful view. The only thing that i could say is. There wasnt enough curtains to cover all the windows. They had a sign that said leave door locked for bears (paraphrasing) and my kids were terrified at night. They were worried about bears looking the windows. LOL but thats how kids are. Also, my 4 year old came to the mountains dying to see Bigfoot. And they had Bigfoots height……

“This place is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The creek is next to the cabin, it’s amazing. The cabin is great, perfect for a small family. It’s not really clean but there are a lot of cleaning supplies and tools to clean it up. We will definitely go back.”

“Great location. VERY kind owners. PLENTY of room for even a group of 18 adult males looking to cut loose. All the amenities you could imagine, plus an immeasurable dose of hideaway charm!”

“We enjoyed the property and found it quite comfortable and cute. The water pressure was not good but we kind of expected that. The biggest issue was the # of mosquitos - even with bug spray on they were relentless so it lessened out time outdoors. We also had difficulty finding Pilot Ridge Rd. The sign is visible from one direction but not the other.”
