“I was on my first drive to Florida and this was my mid-trip stop to sleep. Check-in was easy, the price was right, and our night went smoothly. Clean and comfortable. ”

“We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family.”

“We stayed overnight while on a roadtrip to visit family. Accomodations were OK. Dog friendly. Bed was very firm. Continental breakfast was mediocre. Would stay again if needed.”

“The cabin is a wonderful place to stay. The bed is super comfortable, the towels are soft, the kitchen is equipped, and everything is clean. Check-in was simple, parking was ample, and communication with the host was fantastic. I loved the beautiful fall decorations throughout the rooms. If I am ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to book this property.”

“Overall simple and clean cabin in the woods. Good communication from the host. The listing accurately depicts the cabin interior. The bed was comfortable, nice linens, and very clean. Like some others mentioned, it was a bit close to the neighbors so if you want total privacy its not the place for you. But we lucked out and the place was pretty empty. My only suggestions would be to add a picnic table (or something) on the large deck for outdoor dining (there is a table, no chairs). Also the……

“The thing that impressed us most about the cabin was how well the kitchen was appointed and the thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, herbs, spices and much more. The eggs, milk, bagels and Philly cheese provided for our breakfast was particularly appreciated. Everything else about the cabin was well up to standard. Unfortunately we only stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit. Thank you, Michelle.”
