“Who knew one could find a rustic tiny log cabin about 10 miles from the bustle of busy Washington DC - but that is what you will find when staying in Tommy's cabin. The cabin sits off from and behind the main house surrounded by trees. The back of the cabin is tucked into the woods and from the back deck, I enjoyed sitting there, listening to the birds and watching them play in the creek that ran behind the cabin. I even saw a red fox trot through the woods as a sat on the deck reading a book.……

“Everything at the cabin was perfect and so thoughtful. We had a great stay, my only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer! We would definitely stay here again. We had everything we could’ve ever needed and the decor was lovely, and the setting was gorgeous. Highly recommend!”

“My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out.”

“This cabin has an amazing view! I loved sitting on the porch looking out over the valley. Lots of great bird and animal watching. The property needs some T.L.C. There was more random trash on the property and needed landscaping than I was expecting. It took away from the overall experience, but was still a nice stay.”

“We loved our stay at this home and we’ll definitely be back. The girls loved feeding the catfish in the pond and bird watching. Great place to stay if you’re able to appreciate the older style/antique type. The home is welcoming and charmed us all!”

“We wanted to get away to do some business planning for the year. Perfect location to not go far, but feel like we were away so we could focus. Had some great conversations around the fire pit! Open kitchen and living room layout made it easy to prepare dinner and keep the conversation rolling.”

“Right off the highway, comfortable, safe and clean! The only minor issue was the door to the courtyard closes with a loud CLUNK, and my unit was right above it. Know you need to contact the office if you're arriving after 7pm; they will text you lockbox info to get your key. Will stay here again!”
