“Whilst we had a very nice holiday here we were disappointed to find that there was no communal bar/lounge area nor a permanently established indoor restaurant (the indoor part was the breakfast room; the dining restaurant was entirely outdoor either in gardens or by the pool with no option to dine inside). On the one cool and cloudy day - too chilly to be outside - there was nowhere warm and communal to lounge around or get drinks. You had to be either outside by the pool or in your room. ……

“The hotel is beautiful. The staff are so helpful and truly a pleasure from booking to departure. My room was beautiful and I asked for a room with loungers and I received a wonderful room, so thank you. The gym is very good and the spiler beach club restaurant is a must. I found the room service menu very very limited and the Balthazar restaurant the only downside of the hotel, it has no ambiance and the food was not good at all very sad as the spiler was terrific but closed at 4.30.
