“I loved the historical nature of he property and the cozy room. The host was friendly and welcoming and his family was charming. I felt at ease in the space making it a much better experience than a chain hotel. The breakfasts were terrific!!”

“Room was modern and nicely decorated but was not very clean. The coffee spoon had old coffee dried on it you can tell it wasn’t washed. The corners and crevices were covered with dust and we don’t think the comforter was changed/washed. We stayed one night to visit a wedding venue in the area. We got in late and left early so it was good for the night. Very easy to check in since it’s self check in/check out so that was very convenient. Would stay again if we needed to.”

“I had such a nice stay. The bed and couches were comfy, I was toasty warm even though there was a Springtime snowstorm and I appreciate the countless thoughtful supplies (bananas, muffins, toiletries, so many kinds of Keurig coffee and teas). The owner was quick to answer any questions and very accomodating when I had to leave early for a pet emergency at home.I will return next time I am in the area!”

“I would recommend Ray’s place to anyone going to Cooperstown. We went for Cooperstown Dreams Park and it was an affordable option and an easy 12 min drive - day and night. The apartment is much bigger than it looks online! The only thing I would say is that you should note that it is in the basement of their home so you might hear people walking around on top of you, but you get used to it after a while and if you’re there for CDP, you’re not gonna spend much time inside anyway! Communication……
