“Excellent hotel near the M6 junction. Hotel is clean and well maintained with a large car park. It looks like the hotel was recently refurbished. The room and ensuite bathroom was clean and well maintained. The leisure club has a good sized pool, spa pool and sauna. This is looks newly reburbished. “Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations……

“Beautiful location. Very dog friendly. We had a king size room overlooking the harbour. It was up a few flights of stairs but this was not an issue for us. Use of guest pantry which was a lovely touch. Very good breakfast menu. All staff were very friendly and helpful. ”
