“The hotel is kind of remote from the Main street of Portree; on the other hand, it’s very quiet and peaceful so that the visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of nature in Isle Skye. The room we stay is pretty simple but it’s clean and tidy. Most important of all, we have the great view of lake. Cloe, the front desk staff, shows her hospitality to make our stay even better.”

“Great option for accommodations . The pod set up for sleeping, preparing meals and bathroom facilities all in one . Great set up for location dining option nearby and community nature walks all in reach by car or walking . Would have staying longer if I could , next time . Hosts has all the basics in the pod teas coffees and salt pepper . Just bring easy meal options and your set . Thanks ”

“I loved the boathouse...it was a beautifully rural location...it is next to a working boat yard...but it wasnt noisy..water has such a calming effect..the stay relaxed us so much...its a perfect stay if you want to switch off from the world for a little bit...i would definitely go back again.. “Janet & Stuart couldn’t have been better hosts. Our room was crisply clean with an oh, so comfy bed and a view of the sea. Janet had freshly baked breads and cookies waiting for us. There was a comfy living room with espresso machine, drink glasses, etc at the ready for guests. The breakfast room was perfect. Stuart served us individually prepared breakfast from a generous menu. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - oh my! There were also fruit, cereal and yogurt choices. Exclusive parking……
