The house is plenty big, very clean and decorated nicely. The property is huge. There are two walking trails practically at the end of the driveway. The pics are accurate. It was nice and quiet. Restaurants within 10-15 minutes away. I never left the place. I just sent the grandkids to get everything we needed. Had to make them useful. All in……

“What a lovely Chalet! This was a perfect spot for a little get away for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and all of the outside lounging areas. There were only two of us, so as far as the beds go I can only comment on the mater bed. Slept great and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for grilling out on the gas grill. What a great place in a convenient location. Would highly recommend! “First, let me say that the pictures do not really show how nice this house really is! It is a beautiful home perfect for that mountain getaway! We had a great time at our teacher retreat enjoying all of this space. The view is absolutely amazing! Getting there is a bit of an adventure (very narrow and winding roads and a very sharp turn on the road that leads to the home) as you are truly in the mountains away from it all, but the town of Black Mountain is not far. There was plenty of space……

“The location is indeed beautiful. The road leading to the cabin is rugged, narrow and rough in places, but worth it if you have a SUV. Not so sure a regular vehicle would make it. The cabin was nice and clean. It does need some updates. If you’re interested in preparing your own meals, the cookware there is not recommended. The water smells of sulfur, but it is well water and hard. We had problems getting the door to unlock upon arrival and even after the owner having the batteries changed, the……
