“$30 per pet fee. Nicely finished rooms. Stairs so beware if you are physically challenged.”

“The sheets are dirty, there's hair on them, it doesn't even look changed. Everywhere you see hair on the table. The room was like a smoking room. It smelled like smoke.”

“Quiet location and cleanliness was great. I tried to do laundry and I got my things washed but one of the dryers wasn't working and the one that did it wouldn't let me choose the option on the one that was working. It takes card but it kept saying it declined so I needed to get coins from the office. Otherwise our stay was good for a great price. ”

“It’s not fancy but it’s neat and clean and like a warm hug. Staff is friendly. The restaurant/bar is homestyle. Just an easy relaxed stay as we pass through.”

“Other than not being able to get the TV to work this was a great place to stay. The staff here are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable and is close to everything within walking distance./”

“This motel is on the edge of town as you arrive from the east, so every meal or outing requires a bit of a drive, but nothing is all that far away. The room was very comfortable (the heat works well, but I can't speak to how it would be in the summer) and the bed is too, though maybe a bit too soft. The bedding was fresh and clean, and we were provided with a nice, new extra blanket on request. The view is incomparable, and it was lovely to sit in the lobby (thank you for the 24-hour hot water……

“Once construction is done I feel like this will be a go to stay for us when in the area. The coffee bar in the lobby is pretty great, and the room we stayed in was clean and very comfy. I stayed here in October and the pool was not usable because it "hadn't been treated." This stay they said it was down because they were waiting on a part for the pump. I feel like they should take the pool off the list of amenities. I chose this motel both times because of the pool so that was disappointing. ”

“I'm a landscape photographer and I go to Astoria a few times a year. Most of the time I stay here. Since I'm just looking for a place to sleep, and maybe shower - it works. The shower pressure is good. It's sparse, but for the money you can't beat it. It's near food trucks, the boardwalk, and downtown. The gal at the counter was extraordinary! I met a friend there and asked for our rooms to be near each other and she moved things around to accomodate us. She was very cheerful checking in, and……

“This is a great family-run hotel. The history of the hotel is interesting! My room was cery clean, the staff was so friendly, helpful, and professional. I love that its pet friendly. The grounds are beautiful with an incredible view of the Columbia River. Will definitely stay again!”

“Had to changes room because the heater in the room they first put me in was broke, and they knew it was broke. So a bit of an inconvenience.”
