“The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. Blick auf den Hafen von Fowey von Zimmern (tw. mit Terrasse) und der Terrasse vom Restaurant. Essen qualitativ und geschmacklich sehr gut, Chef zuvorkommend, Bedienung leider ein Drama. Aufnahme der Bestellung dauerte ewig und dann wurden die Getränke vergessen (Tee zum Frühstück) und mussten mehrfach reklamiert werden. Das……

The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. The parking was a bit cramped but nothing that any reasonably competent driver could not cope with. We would definitely stay there again.”
