“We did enjoy our stay in this great holiday villa a lot. It is very calm, yet close to Porto. Many things to see in the environment but also a great place to relax and enjoy the pool, the views across the Douro valley and the nice house, which is well equipped. Last but not least did we enjoy the hospitality of proprietor Seabastião a lot, including his warm welcome and good advice and tips for day trips.”

“Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Carlos qui est super gentil et très à l’écoute. Pour les prochains vacanciers Carlos maîtrise à la perfection plusieurs langues dont le français. Bien utile pour profiter de ses judicieux conseils. Notre location était parfaitement conforme à la description avec en plus la visite quotidienne des 2 adorables chiens de Carlos et de sa discrète épouse. “Situated in Sintra, walking distances to fantastic and quaint restaurants, small bakeries and shops. This vrbo was perfect for our needs during our week stay. Did not get to enjoy the small pool, as it was in the mid 50's. One must be able to have strength in mobility throughout this house and Sintra. Close to everything but away from crowds. The locals were beyond friendly and most gracious with so many tourists upon this town. Overall, we would come back and stay in a heartbeat. Give it a go!”

“This house is beautiful! The house was depicted exactly as the listing. It was a very large and well stocked kitchen with all the pots/pans etc you need. The garden was beautiful as well with a beautiful pool and lovely outdoor furniture to enjoy. Beds were very comfortable and home was very clean. The only thing was concerned about with the house was the beautiful staircase as I have a 3 years old and an 8 year old. The railing has large gaps so please be mindful if you have small children.……

The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. “Loved the location and host at this property. A beautiful view from the terrace. Large home with plenty of space to spread out and walking distance to everything. Lots of space to park your car in the yard. My only suggestion for the owner is to perhaps purchase a heat pump or 2, so you aren't primarily reliant on the fireplace for heat in such a large home. :)”

“A beautiful villa in wonderful surroundings, well equipped and spacious. Dante and Rosa were wonderful hosts, providing us with home made cake, biscuits, bread etc and were extremely helpful. The National Park was a delight and we spent interesting days in Porto, Braga, Montalegre and Guimaraes, as well as swimming in the river and the pool.
