“Amazing house in paradise, the entire accommodation was super comfortable and with all necessary equipment to make you feel at home , the kitchen is fully equipped and even has washing machine if you need to wask some clothing,everything is in full conditions Simple but with love this house will not disappoint you. “Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Landhaus mitten in der Natur. Es ist sehr günstig gelegen um Ausflüge sowohl an die Küste Nähe Lagos als auch an die Strände der Westküste zu unternehmen. Wir haben im Haus alles vorgefunden, was wir brauchten und haben auch gern mal etwas gekocht in der grossen Küche. Sogar eine Knoblauchpresse 😊 war da. Schöne grosse Terrasse um abends nach den Ausflügen in Ruhe entspannen zu können. Mary ist eine sehr nette Lady, sie wohnt direkt im Haus nebenan und ist……

“Jolie petite maison à proximité du centre ville d'Horta. Idéal pour profiter d'Horta et pour rayonner sur Faial. La maison a du cachet, mais est de taille modeste. Nous étions 4 dont 2 enfants (8 et 10), et on aurait pu se sentir à l'étroit si la météo nous avait obligés à rester à l'intérieur. Pas de problème par contre pour les couchages, même si l'escalier d'accès est pentu. A noter le passage très étroit pour accéder en voiture à la maison, mais ça passe! Pour les procédures d'arrivée puis……

“We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in een comfortabel en sfeervol huis. Royaal verblijf op groot perceel grond, prachtige bosrijke en zeer rustige omgeving. Douro ligt ongeveer 500 meter lager, vanuit huis niet zichtbaar. Van zwembad geen gebruik gemaakt, omdat het een behoorlijk stuk afdalen en klimmen was. Dourovallei is prachtig. Veel moois in de omgeving te zien. Auto is een must.”

“La casa, tal como se anuncia, está genial; la piscina y el jardín son una maravilla, y Joao fue encantador e incluso fue más allá ayudándonos en un momento de necesidad. La playa de Sao Martinho está a 5-10min en coche, y en general es una zona muy bonita para descubrirla. El pan, el vino y el chorizo con que obsequian a sus huéspedes a la entrada nos sentaron de maravilla. ¡Gracias Joao y familia, por hacer que nuestras vacaciones fueran estupendas a pesar de que nuestro coche se estropeara!”

“This charming cottage is right on the beach, which you will pretty much have to yourself in the early morning and evenings/nights. It was also quiet all day on the Sunday we were there. The patio is stunning. There are fantastic restaurants so close you can see them from your patio. You are about at the half-way point on the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail, an easy walk to Praia de Marinha (1/2 hour tops). We were always able to find free parking just above the cottage. It is a STEEP walk on stairs……
