“Lovely property, very spacious double bedroom with jacuzzi bath. The bath filters needed cleaning as left some residue in the bath when turned on and the blind on the door was broken, but it was shut so that wasn’t terrible and neither detracted from our stay. Loved the room. Very clean and spacious. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix or Disney. The only thing that lets the place down is the breakfast. My husband didn’t like his salmon and scrambled eggs on toast- said the toast wasn’t great……

“Polite staff, good service and knowledgeable of the area. Property could do with some general attention, as it looks tired. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also very good, with a good selection. Would definitely recommend to others”

“It was such a fun experience staying in this historic Inn! The decor maintained the historical feel, and it was a fun place to stay while visiting Glastonbury. We were able to walk everywhere (including to the top of the Tor - which seemed dauting but was not that bad!) For vegetarians - we had a great plant based burger for dinner at the restaurant, and the English Breakfast included in the morning was a very hearty way to start the day. “We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time .”

“Nice room, spacious, comfy bed, very clean including bathroom. Blissfully quiet at night. Good breakfast selection with prompt delivery of cooked food after choosing from menu. Would recommend. Many National Trust visits within striking distance.”

“The room was small and that was okay. But within the bedroom and bathroom, there was a single outlet for plugging in my computer and/or other electronics.”

“Lovely welcome and speedy check in. Comfortable bed and overall good facilities including a coffee maker. A few old cobwebs around windows and room very stuffy. Sadly quite noisy but is on main road. Overall though, a lovely stay.”
