“It's a cheap and cheerful B&B except no breakfast at the moment (probably because of the season). Lots of cafés nearby though. Don't expect the height of luxury at £65 a night for a double room en suite. The view was to die for!”

“Another great stay, the hotel is brilliant. Location good, free parking nearby, the welcoming staff are excellent. The rooms are a little dated, but spotlessly clean and well maintained. We don’t spend much time there, so all mod cons not essential for us. Excellent value for money and a place we return to again and again.”

“What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities……
