“We did have a few little issues but communication was very quick to respond. I suggest they get a new cleaning crew. The frig was missed and it was noticeable that something had spilled inside the frig. The house is as listed. The linens where clean and ample towels where provided. We would stay here again.”

“We were in town for a wedding. This place was just what we needed. Beds were comfy, place was clean, and location was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had read reviews that mentioned the train which was good to know ahead of time. I made two casseroles to take to a brunch and the kitchen was stocked with the necessary kitchen utensils. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Home was as shown in pictures, everything was as you expect. Response from owners was quick & no major problems, but a bug/beetle in bedroom which I’m guessing came in from the window but otherwise no complaints.”

“We stayed here for a quick volleyball weekend. Not too far from that venue, it was nice to have the full kitchen/house space vs. the tightness a hotel would offer. We were very happy with the accommodations. One thing we would say is there is not enough flatware/dishes for the number of people that can sleep here. We made it work though and enjoyed our stay.”

“The place is fantastic and the location is in a great spot. So close to many things but the water is the best part. Lake living lives up to its promise in late summer here! The owner is an amazing host and superb communicator. This is our second visit to her location and it’s hard to say goodbye to the wonderfulness of her place and our old friends. “This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. A high chair or booster and or pack n play to use would have been a bonus, but we……

“The house was easy to find but nice that it was out of the way from the main traffic areas, very roomy, hot showers, the grille was very helpful, the garage location and access worked out very well for our staying. The only downside is the area lost power later in the evening the night before we were to leave and never came back on during our stay”

“Overall very positive experience. Peter was very responsive to our needs and even stopped by to drop off towels and show us how to use the place. Cool dude. A few of the beds could use an upgrade and the pillows could be as well, but not a deal breaker. All in all good spot.”

“My brother and I went to Detroit for the NFL draft. This property was perfect for us. Close to downtown (20 minutes) with a quiet neighborhood feel. Owner was very responsive. Game room was very nice when we got back to the house. I would highly recommend.”
