“The stay was exactly as mentioned. The bathroom got locked from the inside a few times, but the owner was kind enough to come in and fix it for us. Also it was a mistake from my part that I ignored, the living area/ entertainment space is a walk down the road. So the barn itself is just to sleep. If we wanted to grill/ hangout we had to use a common area which was mostly uninterrupted. Just a couple times, guests from the tree house would visit to use the bathroom. The place is clean. One……

“We came as a family to visit with family in the area. The home was very well maintained and clean. All appliances, bedding and towels were great quality. The house was spacious and had plenty of room to spread out. The location was great with an amazing view. Would highly recommend.”

“The house was clean and full of extras such as a multi function game table, shelves of assorted boxed games & cards. There was a large deck with a large BBQ. All the rooms a large family would need. Clean and functional kitchen. A responsive owner that was immediately available for any questions. The view of the lake was delightful. If you find yourself in the Poultney VT. vicinity, this is the place to stay.”

“We had a lovely stay, the kayaks and canoe were the feature of one afternoon and we greatly enjoyed paddling around Lake Pauline and checking out both dam areas. The house is very clean and well maintained, we fell in love with all the windows and light coming in the bedroom across from the bathroom. The quick walk to the sugar house was a feature for my kids, they also loved having the wii in their room and playing Mario kart with their aunt/uncle.”

“We loved our stay. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen ever. Better than being at home even! Really loved the porch area for storing ski gear. The hot tub felt great. Loved all the windows. So much light and great view. The only small draw back was it’s not a true ski in ski out. The trail is close but you do need to walk a bit to get to it. Overall we had a great visit and would stay here again!”

“The place is beautiful and the stay was fantastic. It is up a couple mile hill/road from the center of town, just long enough to make you feel you are out of the hustle. The property presents very well. The rooms are large for private space with 2 common rooms that are just as large for group time. The one suggestion would be to add a check in book of information, including necessary passwords (WIFI) and local attractions/restaurants. We had much of this in the interaction with the host through……

“My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. The location was great. Lots of wonderful hiking trials in close proximity. My only suggestion to the owners is to give the house a good deep cleaning. Nonetheless,……

“Great house! Small issue with getting into the place with the keybox, but was quickly resolved. We had a great time, it was so comfy, great place to come home after a long day of skiing, exploring, etc. Lots of room to spread out with the family and nighttime hot tub soaks in the cold air were so refreshing!”

“Our corporate group had an incredibly fun stay at Red Clover for a recent ski retreat. The property is impeccably maintained, staff are all very friendly and hospitable, and were communicative before and during our stay. The Red Clover team welcomed our group with open arms (and fresh baked cookies to boot!). “The property is very spacious and comfortable. The location is about a 25 minute drive from Killington mountain. The beds are very comfortable! There are some things about the property and the owner that really need some work: -The oven did not work. It would not heat above 100 degrees. -The WiFi did not work. We had to contact the owner for the password, and were still unable to connect. -There are no hand towels or soap in the kitchen. -There are no hooks or racks to hang jackets. -The towel……
