“We traveled to Franconia, NH to be near the 100% zone if the solar eclipse. The property was beautiful, clean and welcoming. There were 4 large bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, 2 living areas and a big porch. We woke to the view of one of the nearby mountains and the yard was large enough for us to practice some snow shoeing. Cannon Mountain was right down the street, and we were close to Bethlehem, Littleton and Mount Washington. The owners were very communicative and even called the land line to……

“This is a very nicely maintained 19th century farm house surrounded by long views over farms with wide open fields, reached by traveling over a few miles of back country dirt roads. If that's what you are looking for, you'll love this place. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The kitchen appliances are modern and in excellent condition, and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The stairway to the second floor bedrooms is steep and the stair steps are narrow, so……

“This cabin has great potential, but there needs to be full disclosure and clarity about its water issues. It was charming and clean, but we were so disappointed that both the gas grill and gas fireplace on the deck were unusable. There was only one empty propane tank under the grill and nothing in the fireplace. There is a wood burning/coal fire pit that we supplied our own wood for. The host did not respond to my inquiry about whether there was an additional propane tank someplace on site.……

“The cabin is beautiful and immaculate. We stayed in the cabin most of the time; is quiet and cozy. We wish the bed was bigger and comfy but, other than that it was a good experience. We stayed there from April 15 to 18; the weather was perfect and we saw a big bear in the woods which made our stay even more exciting y (pictures and video were taken). The location is perfect; grocery stores are within 15 minutes from the cabin (Walmart, Shaws) We will definitely will go back!!! Can’t wait to……
