“Beware of the stairs. They are nice well maintained stairs, but some people can't or will have a hard time managing them. Typical old farm house, steep narrow stairs. Owners were very nice.”

“I promised my kids I would give our stay at Susan's house as many stars as I could. They wanted to give it a hundred stars, but alas, 5 is the limit. We obviously had a great time. The littler people loved having so many things to play with, including air hockey, ping pong, the tetherball, and the other fun options available. “We didn't get to stay in the house we paid for as both the homeowner and us were scammed. We paid for a house that wasn't supposed to be on VRBO. We contacted VRBO and they did not help us with this problem whatsoever. I had to call Amex to tell them to reverse the charges. We had to scramble to find another place to stay on a booked up holiday weekend. We will be taking further action against VRBO for this FRAUD that they did not help us with at all. “We’ve stayed at many homes through VRBO over the years, but this was our first time as the first ever guests! Our family, including two children and two dogs, very much enjoyed our stay at this 200+ year old farm house nestled among fields and woods in the mountains of Vermont’s northeast kingdom. We appreciated the king sized beds and cozy furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare all of our meals. “This was my 2nd visit. The first was during the darkest days of the pandemic. My husband and I went with another couple. Perfect place...2 full bathrooms, LOTS of space inside and out. Huge screened porch with comfortable chairs and coffee tables, overlooking the lake. Both couples brought canoes and we spent 3 days exploring rivers that run into Lake Memphramagog and also the immense lake itself! This time, we booked for the eclipse. There were 7 of us the first night, and 9 the next two……

“We loved staying here. Being able to do quick walks on the property with a senior dog and puppy was great. Each kid got their own room. Furniture in living room could have been better- only 1 couch - which doesn’t make it comfy for all 6 of us. That was the only issue. A little freaked about the parking but once there it was easy. Plenty of space to 3 point turn your car so you can pull straight out onto road.”

“Lovely home! Tranquility at it's finest! Babbling brook going through the back yard! Family enjoyed cooking meals together in a huge kitchen! Enjoyed fires in the wood burning stove! Enjoyed the scenery hiking the 45 arce property. Enjoyed interacting with the goats, chickens, and ducks next door. 9 and 11 y/o had a blast. Host of the property was very accessible to whatever we needed! Our check out day we visited historic Bennington (historic street from the revolutionary war era). I can go on……

“This is a very nicely maintained 19th century farm house surrounded by long views over farms with wide open fields, reached by traveling over a few miles of back country dirt roads. If that's what you are looking for, you'll love this place. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The kitchen appliances are modern and in excellent condition, and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The stairway to the second floor bedrooms is steep and the stair steps are narrow, so……

“We stayed at this beautiful house, about one block from the Grafton Inn, for two nights for a wedding, and we absolutely loved it! It is a beautiful house, with lots of charm and plenty of space, and it is very comfortable, with lovely bedding and bath products. We'll have to think of another excuse to visit Grafton again so we can book it again! I would highly recommend this property to other families, friends, etc.”

“Reviews and descriptions are spot on! A very cozy house with a babbling brooke running throught the back yard. An absolute perfect location to walk to restaurants, bars and the grocery store. A small ski Town vibe throughout. Jay peak was a short 15 min drive away.”
