When we walked further back into the property, there were several cottages that were completely run down, needed repairs, weeds growing everywhere, really an eye-sore. "The Golden rock Inn is a very special place. Up in the cooler rainforest on the side of Nevis Peak, it is a paradise of greenery and tranquility. The grounds are spectacular, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and extremely gracious, it feels like a private hideaway on a hillside with an absolutely, amazing restaurant to boot! We came for several quiet days after a stay at the Four Seasons, and it was the perfect counterpoint to a beautiful stay on Nevis. Highly recommend! "
