“What a pleasant surprise this was! Completely remodeled, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. Wow. Also parking was directly in front of our door. Highly recommend!!!! We traveled from Minnesota to South Texas and booked this last minute on our road trip. We were looking for a good budget hotel, and honestly, this place felt more like an upscale expensive hotel room. Just excellent! ”

“Worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. Not much selection, ran out of omelets, had to wait for more to come out and when they did they weren’t done - cold in the middle, ran out of orange juice in the dispenser so just sat a jug of OJ on the counter, ran out of instant oatmeal.”

“I thought this looked like a great hotel, but there were a couple of big problems. I am a light sleeper and with no curtains to cover the window and block out all of the city lights, that was a negative. Also the choice of only a sheet or a sheet and a big, heavy comforter, made sleeping very difficult. Third. the A/C unit made a loud rumble every time it kicked in. I was curious why I needed to be on the 3rd floor near the end of the hallway, even though I checked in before 6pm. To top it off,……

“They expect you to pay 70 a night and they have you talk in a room with a loud ice maker so you can’t hear anything they say, then finally get to the room and there’s cockroaches running on the walls!!”

“We like staying at this cabin.Love the view. Cabin has everything needed for a comfortable stay.”

“We had additional fees at check in, bed sheets were stained, the tv. did not work due to poor internet connections. Bed was extremely soft and had to check in and wait to get $30 deposit back at check out, have never had to do that. I could have stayed cheaper in a nicer place without a reservation. Was very disappointed. ”
