"Very nice stay in the suite with a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately the earthquake cut our stay short, but they were so accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. What a terrifying thing for the staff to navigate - they were wonderful. I fear the hotel had significant damage and hope they will be able to reopen. "

"Nice hotel, you can tell hotel really took care of some of the details. If offers bath tub (with relaxing salt), steam bath (with levender smell therapy). However restaurant was not up to to the standards, breakfast was soso, dinner buffet ($1000ntd) was good at all. During dinner we saw some debris that was left at the plate area from breakfast, meaning they didn't do a thorough clean after breakfast? And no soft drinks for it's buffet which was rare as well. "

"Stayed here for three nights whilst in Hualien. Although the room was quite basic, it was very clean and fresh towels were provided each day. Staff were very helpful despite the language barrier and we managed perfectly well with Google translate. They got us a taxi very quickly when we checked out. Breakfast was adequate for our needs also. Location is great for walking to night market, shops and restaurants. Good option if you’re looking for something central. "

"This is a really beautiful place to come and stay. They very kindly gave us an upgrade as they had the space. The staff were AMAZING to us, they were so helpful. The room was excellent. The cafeteria is one side of the entrance and I thought it was a small restaurant and passed by the entrance. The room is quite old, but it's clean. The soundproofing needs some work, since I can hear the neighbors coughing. The bathroom is fine but you can see the age from the fittings. "This is perhaps the best hotel in the Hualien area, with a top-notch new facility and close proximity to the Taroko National Park which unfortunately was severely damaged by the earthquake on 4/3/2024. The menu and food quality in the restaurant was much to our liking and to our delight, reasonably priced for dinner. Beach was a short stroll away."
