“The place was great. Even as presented online! Very spacious. Very clean and updated furnishing. Lots of options for television entertainment. Kindness and helpfulness of the owner was much appreciated. Our only suggestion is to get a railing for the steps going to the lower level.”

“Incredibly beautiful home! The house is a perfect place to host your family for commissioning week or for any stay. The pool and river offer a great places to relax. The views are gorgeous and the property is located in a very peaceful neighborhood. The property has amazing amount space to accommodate our large family. We enjoyed eating on the patio, swimming in the pool, kayaking and playing pickle ball. We hope to come back just to vacation here!”

“There was a mixup between you and the host. We were given 2 different lock codes, so we were outside for approximately 20-30 minutes trying to gain entry. Tell guests everything about the property, lightning, whether the stove is operational or not and that there is a washer, but no dryer.”

“This was in a perfect location for our stay and it had plenty of room for the whole fam. The house is within walking distance to the Metro station and we went back and forth into the city using the metro 4 times in just the 48 hours we were there. Super easy!! The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The home comfortably slept 8 adults and there was room for more. The host was easy to get in touch with! We were concerned about parking a 3rd car but easily found street parking right out front.……

“We loved this neighborhood. We had close access to Union Station, Circulator bus and the H street bus. We are 4 retirees who enjoyed a week in DC. The only down side was there was no toaster, oven or cooktop; although we managed just fine. The host communicated regularly and quickly when we had questions. Minor repairs should be done but overall a 5 star stay!”

The house is cozy and comfortable, attractively decorated and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including off-street parking. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the heart of Old Town Alexandria and Washington, DC is a short ride away by metro or car and you can take a water taxi for a more scenic route.”
