“My wife and I enjoyed a 2 bedroom cabin overlooking the lake. It exceeded our expectations. Great hiking nearby including a waterfall and covered bridge. Five minutes to town with multiple dining options. Nice people and very quiet environment. We hope to return. Only negative was a small TV far from the seats and limited programming. Also, be aware that a separate cleaning fee and service fee are added to the final bill.”

“A cozy cabin in the woods of Vermont! A super short drive to Smugglers Notch, and lots of hiking and sledding to do without getting into the car. Arriving you drive through a Vermont Covered Bridge which adds to the charm. We loved the wood stove and how cozy it made the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked if you need to cook. There are several good local eateries just minutes away too. The only thing missing from our stay was a 2nd luggage rack. Internet was fast enough that you can stream……

“Stayed here to access the Sugarbush ski area. Easy 10-15 minute drive with on-site parking at cabin. Super cute with fire wood provided for use in both the inside fire place and outside fire pit. Cabin abuts the river which makes a nice coffee spot. Easy access to hiking trails. Only things to consider is that beds require climbing a ladder to access so keep that in mind if people have mobility issues. Also no TV so bring your own device if you have something you would like to watch.”

“This cabin was a cozy mid week get away for my wife and I. It was clean and well maintained. The lake and State park access were very convenient and we really enjoyed our hike through the park nature trail. It was only a short drive to either Castleton or Fair Haven, which had many conveniences. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet time away.”

“The house was a very cute ski cabin-y feeling vacation spot with a gorgeous view of the reservoir. Location was great- not too far from the center of Wilmington. And a drive through the mountains/National Forest away from the other cities/tourist areas near Bennington. It snowed while we were staying and the owners stayed on top of plowing so we could drive in and out - they weren't kidding about needing 4WD to get in and out in the winter. Overall, we'd come back in a heartbeat”

“We can not say enough wonderful things about our stay. Brian was there to meet us and do a walk though of the property and even helped us out with local places to go. He is a gem! Although it rained it was absolutely perfect. The yard gave our pups a place to run free but there was also cute areas to walk them all around the area. The views of the water are incredible. Just sad it was too cold to jump in... maybe next time. October was the perfect time to see all the leaves changing and breathe……

“We were two small families (2 couples with 1 child each) and the cabin was a great size for us. The living room had space for everyone to sit together, which was really nice, and we loved the open kitchen/living room design. The knives were also much nicer and sharper than usual in a VRBO, and overall the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in.”

“We stayed here for the 2024 eclipse. It was a perfect location. Plan to bring bottled water for drinking/cooking/etc during your stay, but otherwise, there is everything you need for a relaxing weekend away!”
