"The apartment is clean and modern. Some street noise during the day but quiet at night. The apt is difficult to find. GPS directions send you along the harbor which is difficult with bags. Stick to the high Road. There is a sloped drive that goes down just before the Royal Victoria Hotel. The bed is comfortable. The shower a little cramped. The kitchen is well equipped. We did not use it much but appreciated the washing machine. The apt is an excellent base for exploring the lake towns."

"In the quiet town of Vezio, it’s a great place. Rita and Kirsty make you feel like you are staying at a B and B. It’s a 10 minute walk downhill to Varenna. The 20 minute hike up can be challenging, but the hotel will get a cab for you if you don’t want to hike up. Highly recommend "

"What can I say? This hotel was absolutely amazing, from the top-notch hotel service at the front desk to the property cleanliness; it outshined every hotel I’ve ever been to in my life. The town of Menaggio is very walkable and can be seen in half a day, so if you want to fill up your itinerary, you can take a ferry to Bellagio, or Varenna. We opted for breakfast, and oh my goodness, it was amazing. I absolutely loved their orange juice, as well as the variety of food they offered, from the charcuterie to the main dishes to the snacks. Absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is a pretty big property for being in Maggio. Its cleanliness, gym, indoor spa with an indoor pool, sauna, and resting areas were absolutely amazing and should definitely be utilized. I want to thank Lorena, who was so helpful throughout our stay, from beginning to end. She was absolutely amazing, and the women at the front desk who assisted us absolutely deserve a raise because they work so hard and helped us with absolutely everything. I proposed to my girlfriend right in front of the hotel, and the hotel staff accommodated all my requests in helping me propose to my girlfriend of nine years, and it was just so perfect. They were helpful, kind to all of us, and we would definitely go back in a heartbeat. This is well worth your money because who knows if you’ll ever be back again so make those unforgettable memories with Grand Hotel Victoria!"
