“This property was wonderful!!! The house accommodated my large group for our visit to DC. We took a boys mentor group and familes to DC for an educational, cultural, and civics trip. This house was perfect! From the lovely kitchen, and open living space, to the spacious bedrooms and awesome basement with a spectacular gameroom area!! The only complaint we had was the stairs but I brought it the attention of the host and she said she would take care of the problem. We were also unable to work……

“My family and I had a great time for our weekend getaway. Great location and amazing views! Very quiet neighborhood and so peaceful, especially at night. The house was very neat and clean and beautiful just like the pictures. Mary was a great host! She was very communicative before and during our stay. We enjoyed this trip at this home away from home. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Had a great stay, will definitely be coming back! Home was clean, spacious, and had lots of entertainment for the kids. Great location to slopes/hiking trails and whatever else you need on the resort.”

“My family and I were very pleased with our stay. The location was easy walking distance to the Assateague bridge and many food trucks/restaurants, yet was very quiet in the later hours. Our kids loved the indoor pool and the extras offered. We are already planning a repeat stay!”

“The positives first the property manager was very friendly and helpful the check in process was easy property was clean had an nice time especially loved the wildlife in the bay! Something's I wish I knew before I booked the pictures are pretty outdated so the dock that we were hoping to fish on was in complete dis repair it was not safe to go on at all a little disappointing but it is off season. We did also have a random couple ask us on our first day what we were doing there because he said……

“This is a great location - may be the closest spot to stay on the way to the park that includes the beach. Accommodations are simple, but the price is right. We stayed here with 6 adults. The pull-out bed downstairs was cracked in the middle so the mattress sagged. I told the host about it after we left and he said he had a guy who would fix the bed.”

“We had 25 people across three generations: 8 family "units", and the house was comfortable for us. Enough sleeping space, eating space and sitting space for everyone.”

“-Convenient market <1 mile away where we could pick up last-minute essentials (i.e. ibuprofen).”

“The rooms were very engaging. My daughter-in-law was charmed. We had lots of indoor places in which to play. The pool in the backyard was great for adults & children during the warm summer!”

“A great spot for a quick weekend getaway in the fall. Might feel cramped for longer stays but perfect for what we needed. Pool was a nice addition when it got rainy but it was a but chilly.”
