“This condo did not disappoint! We loved every single minute of our stay here. The owner has put great care into outfitting this condo. High end couches, comfortable beds with luxurious bedding, tastefully decorated and much more. It was extremely clean and the kitchen was very well stocked so that my group could cook several meals at the condo. My favorite part of the condo has to be the views. I spent many mornings drinking my coffee on the lanais overlooking the park with its beautiful and……

“Nice condo on a high floor with good views. It was a great home base for our stay in Hilo and visiting the east side of the Big Island.”

“The condo unit itself was clean and well-finished, and the community laundry was clean and worked well. The parking lot situation was not lovely, but was overall safe. There is a window air conditioner in the bedroom, so the winow can't be opened for fresh air. The rental agent was very responsive and brought us a fan. We liked sitting and eating on the lanai. It was a good location for enjoying Hilo. It seems silly that the dishwasher doesn't work, and seems not to have worked for a while.”

“Can't beat the location. Nice balcony view. Very clean. Host recommended a lot of good beaches and restaurants. Fun to watch the Muscovy Ducks. Parking was slightly tricky at check in due to the map of the lot and parking spot being in the room. Receiving an email map prior to check in would fix that. Besides that it was great ”

“We loved our stay here. This particular unit has one of the best locations on the property with a direct view of the ocean. We saw many whales right offshore from our unit! The location near the black sand beach was fantastic and we loved the ocean and turtles. It is a quiet and peaceful place to visit. The unit was very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed and was perfect for a quiet getaway.”

“We love the view from the balcony of the lagoon park area. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, and the kitchenette was stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, and was very much appreciated. The location was very central, which made it easy to get around town and walk to many locations. The bathroom had some issues, in that the lighting was very dim. We especially needed light above the medicine cabinet to be able to see……

“The host was very friendly, and shared some great tips for visiting the Hilo area. Check-in/out instructions were helpful and easy to follow. The building itself is a little tired and could use some updating/cleaning. The unit was well equipped and cozy. The beds were not particularly comfortable and overall I would rate the accomodations as 4 star”

“This location was perfect for our stay in Hilo. Easy parking and close to a lot of amenities. Happy Honu Oasis had everything we needed and things we didn’t know we needed! So thankful for the cooler! The bed was very comfortable. While it is a bit dated, it is decorated adorably and very clean. Highly recommend.”

“This was the perfect house for us. We especially loved the separate bedroom for our son to stay in. It was a fully stocked kitchen and a nice grill so we cooked in every night. The hot tub was great too! Mindi and John are wonderful hosts with top notch communication. The location was perfect for exploring the National Park and surrounding areas. The pictures just don't do this place justice, it's way cooler!”

“We could not have been more pleased. Our early birds enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings drinking coffee and listening to the light sprinkle in the trees, while watching the local "wildlife" in the yard. Those of us who enjoy a few more hours of sleep loved the peacefulness of the place. We had everything we could have needed - our hosts thought of it all! The location was wonderful for a visit to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Hilo was only a short drive away and we visited that……
