“I stayed at this cottage with my husband and our dog for four nights. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the setting directly on the water. It's truly a fantastic location and cottage and we're planning to return next year. Access was easy. The cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived. (There was a strong scent of air fresheners when we arrived, but were able to air it out.) There's plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen was fully stocked and great for cooking. The grill area worked……

“Solo visit with my dog as companion prepping boat for 2024 season. Property is neat as a pin, quiet, and located very convenient to all that sister bay has to offer. Michelle was VERY responsive and all communications were pro active, professional, yet personable. Lots of nice touches in rental made us feel right at home immediately. Great spot and great stay!”

“Felt like we hit a home run. Everything was perfect for a romantic getaway. Weather was terrible and we couldn’t have cared less. Didn’t get to use the outdoor amenities provided but it was the perfect space to hang out. Gretel has thought of just about everything. Thanks for a great stay!”

“Loved this property! So beautifully put together. The history of the place is amazing! Thankful for supplying all the bedding, towels, kitchen appliances, and baking and cooking equipment. They even had extra cleaning supplies around if we needed it. The best part was definitely the location. Loved being able to walk down the the dock every morning and evening to watch the sun rise and set. Thank you for your hospitality! We will be planning another return for sure.”

“What a great weekend! We really appreciated the extra floor rugs for our shoes, heated floor title, and the bistro set for a late afternoon meal. My husband loved the wood carrier tote, and that the home had a good internet connection It really showed that hosts put a lot of thought into how the rental would be used. Steve & Amy are awesome. It's such a cozy place to stay. Minutes from Cana Lighthouse for a tour, birds bobbing in the waves for their meals, and gorgeous sunrises. This was……

“My friends and I came to Door County for a weekend in early November and the condo was perfect - clean, beautiful views, comfortable, quiet, and at the perfect spot to walk to the little downtown. Easy to get to wineries and the state park. We used a private driving service for winery hopping (Door County Personal Drivers (906) 282-1902) and they were so kind, perfect as Uber drivers are difficult to come by and unreliable. Overall, fantastic stay!”

“Very nice house. Close to Sister Bay. 2 large living rooms and a large dining room table for games and socializing. Large kitchen with lots of room. We could have used some TV instructions as none of us had used Roku before. Owners are very nice as they had to stop by and replace thermostat battery. The thermostat tended to turn off so the owners are looking into that. Otherwise, great place to stay. Everything is relatively new especially the carpet. It was perfect for our group!”

“Door County is unique in itself. We were there at the very beginning of the season. It seemed that the place was just getting reactivated. The water had a bad sulfur smell when in use the first morning. The second morning it seemed to go away. I believe for the price they should provide a nice continental breakfast. ”
