“Great staff and good facilities - pool for the kids, Starbucks, bar and restaurant on site. Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing - a severe lack of fresh fruit options. ”

“All aspects of the stay were very good - staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. Check in took quite a long time - at one point, there were seven people in cue to check in with the one receptionist - BUT my guess is that this was an exception. I’d stay here again and would recommend it to others.”

“We've had a lovely stay at Novotel Cardiff. The staff in reception and at the restaurant were helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast was very good. The swimming pool and spa facilities were great. The room for 4 is not very big but had enough space and was comfortable. The hotel is not in the prettiest area, however is conveniently located 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 5 minute taxi ride from the bay. Also walking distance from the train station. Definitely recommend. ”

“Hotel is located in city centre with bright nightlife with restaurants and shops nearby, but parking is a big problems though you may park at central station. Room is clean but facilities are old, better with updated renovation.”

“I liked this place, it’s a convenient place, and the building is quite, staff are very nice, feel welcoming as well. Only thing is the wood floor inside does not feel really clean, I guess it’s the age. But the bedding had strong smell, smells like it did not dry up properly”

“Klasse Hotel! Liegt so schön ruhig am See und man kommt problemlos zu Fuß in 15 Minuten in die Stadt von Cardiff. Darüber hinaus gibt es ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Konnte mein Auto vom Bett aus sehen, klasse! Gerne wieder! Frühstück war auch ausreichend - englisch halt! :)”

“The first room assigned to me is of no air condtioning, which is excessively hot in day time. Upon request, the hotel change one with air conditioning, but at a lower floor with internal view on the reception hall. The room decoration is of simple type and acceptable. But a number of room facilities like door lock, light bulbs need repair.”

“The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. ”
