"The property was impressive with the room being quite a good spec. Huge windows offered a lovely view of the lake area and the stand up fan offered relief from quite a stuffy evening. There were some quality amenities and facilities on site too. The parking was ample but even the closest areas required a sizable walk to reception and that is including the disabled parking bays. "It is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a superb spa. Rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable. Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste. "
