"Overall a nice hotel given the small town and castle/tourism nearby. They have parking which is a plus. They have a lovely courtyard and it was nice being able to get a drink to sit in a quiet area. The room was nothing special and when we went to eat in the restaurant you could tell there were no windows open, stuffy and smells."

"The property was a challenge to access, we had to do the roundabout twice. The restaurant was good and the staff especially the young blonde who worked the reception, bar and tables was a very nice young lady. I forget her name."

"Stayed overnight as had a trip on sea plane next day. Room was comfy and had everything we needed. Popped over to pub opposite for evening meal. Was delicious. A pint of guinness was also partaked. Breakast next morning in the same location, also excellent and good choice. "

"We stayed in one of the lodges which was superb. Clean, with quality furnishings, comfortable beds, and a two minute stroll to the amenities. Beautiful, well kept grounds and pleasant, helpful staff made this a fantastic stay. Although we only stayed for the one night, we were so impressed we are now intending to book one of the lodges for several nights next time. I should also mention that the surrounding countryside is stunning and there is plenty to do and see for all ages."

"Lovely old Inn which was friendly and welcoming with great food and overlooking the falls. It was super convenient as in our route home. The bed in our standard room was quite small for us tall people and the room was so hot but otherwise comfy. "

"Only complaint was no where to store toiletries in bathroom. Had to balance on edge of sink. Otherwise great staff and food, room was great and location on loch was outstanding."

"The hotel was lovely, good customer service and the room was a great size and well decorated. The bed was super comfortable but we had problems with a poor shower that didn't work properly for the 2 days we were there. The location is good and a 5 minute walk into the village centee Food in the restaurant was good, but breakfast took too long even though there went many tables."

"Kevin and Kim were wonderful host. The facility was comfortable just like home. They provided great suggestions for dinner and sites to see in Sterling. We will look forward to staying in Springfield lodge sometime soon. Garth and Vicky."
