“This is everything you could want from a farm stay. Friendly, healthy animals and a property that has obviously been thoughtfully cultivated over the years. Our kids LOVED it. Lisa is a great host and the house has everything you could think of. Quiet and peaceful yet convenient to West Jefferson, and the New River and many other parks. We will definitely be back!!.”

“My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean and neat and the process of checking in and out was easy-peasy. I rated it four stars instead of five because it is remote, so unless you're sticking to cycling or activities on the nearby South Fork of the New River, you'll be driving a bit to get anywhere. Although I'm a lifelong resident of NC, I'm always discovering new places to visit, and this was a great one. I would definitely stay there again when I have more time to explore……

The property and the walks we took visiting the animals and the scenery was so enjoyable. The host(s) could not be more accommodating. Each room is impeccable and the history of the home and land. “The Little Farm on the Pond was the perfect farmhouse for our before Christmas getaway. The property owners made us feel so welcomed with the lit Christmas tree and a so glad your here sign. We absolutely loved everything about this property. The farmhouse provides all of your needs for your stay. The decor is farmhouse, which was very warm and inviting. The pond was great too. “I went to this property over new years weekend with three friends. The house was perfectly sized for all of us. We had such a good time exploring the property, hanging out in the hot tub, and relaxing on the back porch. The property the house is on is absolutely beautiful.
